Lutz's Ranch Dressing


  • 1 package Lutz's Ranch Mix (equivalent to 1 Tablespoon)
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1 cup buttermilk

For a thicker dressing, use less buttermilk.

Lutz's Oyster Crackers 


  • 1 package Lutz's Ranch Mix (equivalent to 1 Tablespoon)
  • 10 cups oyster crackers (about 2 packages) - or substitute pretzels!
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Mix ingredients together, bake at 250 degrees for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway. Can easily half recipe by using 1/2 Tablespoon Lutz's Mix, 1 package crackers, and 1/8 cup of vegetable oil.

Lutz’s Chipotle Ranch Chicken Taquitos

You will need: 
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon Lutz’s Chipotle seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 chicken bullion cube
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro 
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (your choice
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Chipotle Ranch dressing (see recipe on side of jar)
  • 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 can corn drained and rinsed
  • 8 corn burrito sized tortillas
Place chipotle seasoning, chicken breasts, chicken broth, and bullion cube in a crock pot on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours OR place in instapot for 15 minutes. 

Shred chicken and add all ingredients in a bowl, reserving a small amount of cilantro as a garnish. 

Roll up mix in tortillas, baste a small amount of olive oil on the tortillas and place in oven at 300 for 15 minutes. 

Sprinkle leftover cilantro in top. Dip in Lutz’s tradition ranch or chipotle ranch and enjoy! 

Lutz's Grilled Chicken

  • 1 package Lutz's Ranch Mix (equivalent to 1 Tablespoon)
  • 3-4 pounds chicken breast
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
Mix Lutz's Ranch Dressing Mix with oil, place in plastic bag with chicken to coat. Place in fridge for up to 24 hours. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or grill. Ensure chicken is cooked to 165 degrees.

Lutz's Shredded Chicken Tacos with Jalapeno Mix

You will need:
  • 3-4 Chicken Breasts
  • 1 Tablespoon Jalapeno Ranch Mix
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 1 cup salsa (your favorite kind!)
  • Juice from 1 lime
  • Cilantro, chopped (as much or as little as you like, I recommend 1/8 cup) 

Place ingredients in a slow cooker. Cook high for 4 hours, or low for 8 hours. Shred chicken with fork and serve on tortillas. Garnish with fresh cilantro, tomatoes, cheese and Lutz's Ranch Dressing. Enjoy!

Lutz's Taco Soup

In Crock-pot mix together:
  • 4 large chicken breasts (can substitute with 2 pounds cooked ground beef)
  • 16oz chicken broth
  • 1 canned black beans (drained)
  • 1 can corn (drained)
  • 1 can mexican style tomatoes
  • 1 packet of your favorite taco seasoning
  • 1 packet Lutz's Ranch Mix (equivalent to 1 Tablespoon)
Cook on low for 8-10 hours, or high for 4-5 hours. Take chicken out and shred with an hour left of cooking time. Before serving, sprinkle fresh cilantro, add a spoonful our sour cream, grated cheese, and/or tortilla strips.

Lutz's Stuffed Mushrooms 

You will need:
  • 24 large (about 2 inch diameter) mushrooms, stemmed
  • 1 packet Lutz's Ranch Mix (equivalent to 1 Tablespoon)
  • 1 block cream cheese
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • Olive Oil
Brush baking dish with olive oil to coat. Mix cheeses together with Lutz's Ranch. Scoop into mushrooms and place into baking dish. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are soft and are brown on top.

Lutz's Crispy Chicken Salad 

You will need:
  • 1 large head of romaine lettuce
  • Lutz's Ranch Dressing (see recipe above)
  • Roasted red peppers, corn, black beans, and onions
  • Salsa
  • Limes
  • Chips
  • Crispy Chicken Strips
  • Cilantro
Chop, rinse, and drain lettuce & cilantro. Saute peppers, onions, corn, and beans in a skillet on low heat - heating evenly. Place corn, peppers, onions, and beans on lettuce and cilantro. Cut Chicken Strips into bite-size pieces, then drizzle lime juice, Lutz's Ranch Dressing, and salsa over the top. Top with chips and enjoy!

Lutz's Slow Cooker Pot Roast

You will need:
  • 1 package Lutz's Ranch Mix (equivalent to 1 Tablespoon)
  • 5-7 pounds rump roast (or any roast)
  • 1 stick butter
Place roast in slow cooker. Sprinkle Lutz's Ranch dry mix over the roast to evenly coat. Cube butter and place on top of roast. Cook on low for 8-10 hours, or on high for 4-6 hours. To make a meal, add small onions, potatoes, and carrots with about 1 cup of beef broth or water. 

Lutz's Pinwheels Appetizer

You will need:
  • 1 package Lutz's Ranch Mix (equivalent to 1 Tablespoon)
  • 1 block cream cheese
  • corned beef, ham, or any lunch-style meat.
  • Sliced olives
  • Green onions
  • Shredded cheese
  • Tortillas
Start by laying out cream cheese to soften. After soft, mix Lutz's Ranch Dressing with cream cheese and spread over tortillas. Lay meat flat, and sprinkle cheese, green onions and olives on top. Roll pinwheels and place in plastic wrap to set in fridge for an hour. Slice up and enjoy! Best served with Lutz's Ranch Dressing as a dipping sauce!

Lutz's Veggie Dip

You will need:
  • 1 package Lutz's Ranch Mix (equivalent to 1 Tablespoon)
  • 1 Cup Mayo
  • 1 Cup sour cream
Mix all ingredients together and place in fridge for an hour. Serve with your favorite veggies

Lutz's Low-Fat Veggie Dip

You will need:
  • 1 package Lutz's Ranch Mix (equivalent to 1 Tablespoon)
  • 1 Cup Mayo (fat-free)
  • 1 Cup Greek Yogurt (fat-free)
Mix all ingredients together and place in fridge for an hour. Serve with your favorite veggies

Lutz's Crokpot Mushrooms

You will need:
  • 1 package Lutz's Ranch Mix (equivalent to 1 Tablespoon)
  • 8oz Mushrooms (button or portabella)
  • 1 lb. butter
Clean mushrooms and place in crockpot. Melt butter and add Lutz's Ranch Mix. Mix well and pour over mushrooms in crockpot. Cook on low for 4-5 hours.

Lutz's Blue Cheese Dressing

Add blue cheese crumbles to prepared Ranch Dressing (see recipe above). For best results, infuse the blue cheese with a blender for better flavor and add additional crumbles.

Lutz's Twice-Baked Potatoes with Jalapeno Mix

You will need:
  • 4-5 potatoes, cleaned and cut into 1 inch pieces
  •  1 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup bacon bits
  • 3 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons chives
  • 2-3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Lutz's Jalapeno Ranch Mix
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Boil potatoes until soft, then drain. Mix all ingredients together and 1/2 the shredded cheese together and spread in a greased 9x13 baking pan. Top with remaining cheese and bake for 30-45 minutes. Yum!

Lutz's Ranch Cheesy Potatoes

You will need:
  • 8 oz ranch dressing
  • 4-5 pounds yellow or red potatoes
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 package (8 oz) shredded colby or cheddar cheese (can substitute for pepper-jack to make it more spicy!)
  • salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease 9x13 baking dish. Cube potatoes into 1" cubes, if you prefer no skins, peel potatoes first. Place potatoes in backing dish and season with salt, pepper, and chili powder. Evenly distribute butter over the potatoes. Cover dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour. When potatoes are soft, remove dish from oven and min the cheese and ranch dressing in with the potatoes, continue cooking for another 10 minutes. Enjoy!

Lutz's Buffalo Chicken Ranch Dip

You will need:
  • 8 oz ranch dressing (already mixed)
  • 2 cans chicken breast (already cooked) or substitute 2-3 shredded chicken breasts
  • 2 packages cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup buffalo red sauce
  • Chips
Mix ingredients in a crock pot. Cook on low for 2 hours, or high for 1 hour, stirring often.

Lutz's Chipotle Pork Carnitas

You will need:
  • 2 pounds boneless pork shoulder
  • 2 Tablespoons Lutz's Chipotle Ranch
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 4 gloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeno (seeds removed) and chopped
  • 1 orange (cut in half)
  • 3 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
Rinse and dry the pork shoulder. Mix the Chipotle seasoning with the olive oil and rub seasoning on the pork shoulder. Place in slow cooker topped with onion, garlic, and jalapeno. Squeeze the orange juice over the top and add the two halves. Cover and cook in crock pot for 8 hours on low, or 4 hours on high. Once meat is tender, remove from the crock pot and shred with a fork. In a large saute pan, heat the vegetable oil over high heat. Place the meat into the pan with vegetable oil until the meat has a slight crust on one side. Garnish with your favorite toppings.
